How we check discounts
Everyone promises discounts, but a real discount is one where the price is below the same shop's lowest price in the 30 days before the promotion: that is how the EU rules define the previous price. Every night we check every promotion at Rimi, Maxima, Top!, Drogas and other shops.
Real discount
The price is at least 5% below the same shop's lowest price in the 30 days before the promotion.
Good price
Not a real discount, but at least 5% cheaper than usual.
Usual price
It was just as cheap in the 30 days before the promotion.

When is Black Friday in 2026?
On Friday, 27 November 2026. Many shops start their promotions earlier, from the Monday, and keep them until Cyber Monday, 30 November.
How do I know whether a discount is real?
Compare the promotion price with the same shop's lowest price in the 30 days before the promotion. Under the EU rules that is the price a shop must show as the previous one. Cenu Depo does this automatically for every promotion: on the product page look for the mark "Real discount", "Good price" (not a real discount, but at least 5% cheaper than usual) or "Usual price".
Which shops' prices are compared?

Why is there no alcohol here?
Latvian advertising rules forbid advertising discounts on alcohol, so we do not show them.
